Kumtor case: Torobai Zulpukarov, Asylbek Jeenbekov released from remand prison
The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek considered and changed the measure of restraint for MPs Asylbek Jeenbekov and Torobai Zulpukarov today.
Earlier, the investigator of the State Committee for National Security submitted a corresponding motion to the court.
Leaving the deliberation room, the judge Nurdin Ibraimov ruled to cancel the arrest of both MPs.
Asylbek Jeenbekov and Torobai Zulpukarov are defendants in the criminal case on Kumtor. They were detained in June 2021.
