Kyrgyzstanis take 31.1 billion soms in loans in microcredit organizations
Microcredit organizations issued loans in the amount of 31.1 billion soms in 2020, while the number of recipients reached 706,600 people. The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Compared to 2019, the volume of microcrediting increased by 3.2 percent, and the number of recipients — by 13.2 percent (82,200 people). Women predominated among recipients of microcredits in 2020 — 56.4 percent (398,600 people).
More than a third of microcredits issued in 2020 was directed to the business development in agriculture, 28.2 percent were taken for consumer needs.
The share of microcredits issued for trade and public catering amounted to 10.4 percent, construction — 8.1 percent.
