Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 262 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 608,429 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 262,093,945 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (48,438,063), India (34,580,832), Brazil (22,084,749), France (7,731,351), Russia (9,436,650), Turkey (8,772,342), Great Britain (10,245,244), Italy (5,015,790), Spain (5,153,923), Germany (5,825,626), Argentina (5,328,416), Iran (6,113,192) and Columbia (5,067,348).
At least 5,206,982 people died from the virus, including 778,701 people — in the USA, 614,376— in Brazil, 293,897— in Mexico, 468,790— in India, 145,253— in the UK, 133,739— in Italy and 268,705 — in Russia.
At least 183,351 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,054,091 cases — in Kazakhstan, 193,065— in Uzbekistan, 17,493 — in Tajikistan.
