Corruption in Air Kyrgyzstan company revealed
An auditor and an inspector of the Accounts Chamber were detained for corruption in Bishkek. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Facts of corruption with infliction of damage on an especially large scale have been revealed in Air Kyrgyzstan JSC, 100 percent of shares of which belong to the state.
Some officials of the Accounts Chamber, having entered into an agreement with the management of the airline, concealed damage caused to the state in the amount of $ 3,160,903 during scheduled audits.
Criminal proceedings were instituted against the auditor and inspector under Article 319 «Corruption» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and they were taken into custody by a court decision.
Investigation continues.
