Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 259.3 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 683,659 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 259,380,413 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (48,090,894), India (34,535,763), Brazil (22,043,112), France (7,586,146), Russia (9,270,885), Turkey (8,654,142), Great Britain (10,028,639), Italy (4,954,585), Spain (5,111,842), Germany (5,547,311), Argentina (5,319,867), Iran (6,092,822) and Columbia (5,055,253).
At least 5,173,924 people died from the virus, including 775,369 people — in the USA, 613,339— in Brazil, 292,850— in Mexico, 466,584— in India, 144,728— in the UK, 133,415— in Italy and 262,733 — in Russia.
At least 183,066 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,048,550 cases — in Kazakhstan, 191,956— in Uzbekistan, 17,493 — in Tajikistan.
