Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 258.6 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 522,193 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 258,696,754 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (47,980,780), India (34,526,480), Brazil (22,030,082), France (7,553,513), Russia (9,238,330), Turkey (8,598,380), Great Britain (9,985,879), Italy (4,942,135), Spain (5,103,315), Germany (5,472,996), Argentina (5,317,633), Iran (6,088,009) and Columbia (5,052,733).
At least 5,165,169 people died from the virus, including 773,770 people — in the USA, 613,066— in Brazil, 292,524— in Mexico, 466,147— in India, 144,579— in the UK, 133,330— in Italy and 261,526 — in Russia.
At least 182,996 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,048,550 cases — in Kazakhstan, 191,750— in Uzbekistan, 17,493 — in Tajikistan.
