Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 258.1 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 653,569 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 258,174,561 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (47,886,798), India (34,518,901), Brazil (22,020,412), France (7,611,366), Russia (9,205,431), Turkey (8,598,380), Great Britain (9,941,704), Italy (4,932,091), Spain (5,096,538), Germany (5,418,774), Argentina (5,315,989), Iran (6,082,865) and Columbia (5,050,255).
At least 5,158,635 people died from the virus, including 772,381 people — in the USA, 612,781— in Brazil, 292,471— in Mexico, 465,911— in India, 144,414— in the UK, 133,247— in Italy and 260,319 — in Russia.
At least 182,953 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,046,722 cases — in Kazakhstan, 191,576— in Uzbekistan, 17,493 — in Tajikistan.
