Meat production level increases in Kyrgyzstan
Level of meat production increased by 1.7 percent compared to 2020 in Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Agriculture reported.
For two weeks of November, economic entities of all categories of the country produced 299,000 tons of meat in live weight, which is 4,959 tons more than for the same period in 2020. The increase in meat production is due to an increase in the number of farm animals, except for pigs and poultry.
According to the National Statistical Committee, as of January 1, 2021, the number of cattle increased by 35,000 heads.
