Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 253.8 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 547,871 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 253,860,225 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (47,221,549), India (34,447,536), Brazil (21,960,766), France (7,393,296), Russia (8,956,136), Turkey (8,433,988), Great Britain (9,649,233), Italy (4,865,260), Spain (5,056,954), Germany (5,091,200), Argentina (5,307,159), Iran (6,045,212) and Columbia (5,034,266).
At least 5,106,873 people died from the virus, including 764,363 people — in the USA, 611,346— in Brazil, 291,147— in Mexico, 463,655— in India, 143,384— in the UK, 132,819— in Italy and 251,797 — in Russia.
At least 182,528 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,039,671 cases — in Kazakhstan, 189,915— in Uzbekistan, 17,488 — in Tajikistan.
