Kamchybek Tashiev's friend becomes advisor to Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers
Altynbek Zhumaev, General Director of Channel 7, has been appointed an advisor to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov. The corresponding order was signed by the government.
Altynbek Zhumaev is a longtime associate and friend of the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev. He is also a friend of the ex-speaker of the Parliament Akhmatbek Keldibekov. In 2017, together with the latter, he opened another television channel in Osh — NurTV.
It turned out during the trial that in 2018 the owner of the channel Mairamkul Mambetalieva, according to its founders, sold the channel for 7 million soms to Almazbek Atambayev and Aprel Public Foundation. She said later that she had not signed any documents and had not made any deal.
