New Delhi hosts third Regional Security Dialogue on Afghanistan
Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Marat Imankulov took part in a meeting of the third Regional Security Dialogue on the situation in Afghanistan. It took place in New Delhi (India). Presidential press service reported.
Its participants exchanged views on topical issues of regional security, including in the field of countering terrorism, extremism, separatism, transnational organized crime and drug trafficking in all their manifestations. The meeting was also attended by national security advisers and secretaries of the Security Councils of India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
«The Afghan problem was discussed in this format for the 1st time. As a result of the meeting, the Delhi Declaration was adopted on strengthening interstate cooperation in the context of the situation in Afghanistan,» the statement says.
