Agri-hackathon takes place in Bishkek
An agri-hackathon is taking place in Bishkek. Since April 2021, Fund for the Development of Entrepreneurship among Women NGO with the support of Agrosooda project — within the framework of the USAID program, has launched implementation of Women and Youth in Agriculture — Agro Aiym-Agro Zhashtar program.
The goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity and skills in the field of entrepreneurship and digital literacy of 70 young people and women, who head agricultural enterprises at the stage of their business development in agriculture from one to three years in Osh, Batken and Jalal-Abad regions.
It is noted that 40 women and young entrepreneurs have successfully completed intensive training within the accelerated program of the project in the basics of entrepreneurship, received the necessary knowledge and skills to create and run a business to increase sales and revenue.
Today’s agri-hackathon will create conditions for the introduction of new digital technologies at agricultural enterprises and will present start-up projects of young people and women to potential investors.
