Member of organized crime group suspected of kidnapping in Suzak
A member of an organized crime group, suspected of kidnapping, was detained in Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan. The Internal Affairs Department of the region reported.
A 60-year-old resident of Suzak district turned to the police on September 20. He told that at about 2.00 am his son, 38, was taken from his home, forced into a car and taken away in an unknown direction.
The kidnapper demanded $100,000 from the family and threatened with reprisals. But four hours later, the kidnapped was released on the condition that he would bring the required money.
The fact was registered. Pre-trial proceedings were started under Article 170 «Abduction of a person».
