One of sections of Bishkek-Kara-Balta road to be renovated for $ 20 million
Section of Bishkek-Kara-Balta road from the 8th to the 15th kilometer will be renovated for $ 20 million. Zamir Isakov, a Road Engineer of the Group for Implementation of Investment Projects of the Asian Development Bank, told at a press conference today.
According to him, the pre-tender procedures are currently being completed. According to preliminary calculations, renovation of the section of the road from the 8th to the 15th kilometer will require $ 20 million. Financing is provided by ADB. The tender will be announced by the end of the year.
It was originally planned to completely reconstruct Bishkek-Kara-Balta road. But the section from the 8th to the 15th kilometer was excluded from the general project. Reconstruction from the 15th to the 61st kilometer will cost $ 70.2 million.
