Matviyenko: Children's project of Kyrgyz Parliament is well established in CIS
«Children of the Commonwealth» project, proposed by the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, is well established in the CIS space. Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko, stated at a press conference in St. Petersburg. Russian media report.
As part of the project, children from all countries of the Commonwealth gather each year for the forum in Issyk-Kul region.
«I attended the forum, it is a very effective form. We will think about organization of such forums in turn in other CIS countries,» said Valentina Matviyenko.
«The current generation of politicians has a great responsibility — to convey our feelings of friendship, brotherhood, common history and traditions to the young people of the CIS,» the head of the Federation Council stressed.
