Kyrgyzstan intends to extend visa issue period
Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposes to increase the period for issue of visas of Kyrgyzstan. The document was submitted for public discussion.
Since September 1, 2017, foreign citizens can draw up documents through «Electronic Visa» service. At the same time, intermediaries that provide services for filling out applications for electronic visas, but do not make tax deductions, have become more active.
Registration and issue of electronic visas take three working days, but due to the large number of applications and lengthy checks in the SCNS, the ministry does not fit into this period.
In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposes to increase the deadlines for processing and issue of visas to 5 working days and terms of approving applications by SCNS — from two to four working days.
