Germany to provide grant assistance for construction of hospitals in Kyrgyzstan
Germany will allocate €21 million to equip hospitals in Kyrgyzstan. Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
A package of bilateral documents was signed in the framework of the official visit of Sooronbai Jeenbekov to Germany. They are aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of diplomatic relations, economy and industry, agriculture and the agro-industrial complex, education, development of tourism, trade and economic relations, in the financial sphere.
«Under the agreements, a perinatal hospital will be built in Osh city for €13 million, and another perinatal hospital will be built in Talas for € 6 million. In addition, other €2 million will be allocated to the Bishkek Perinatal Hospital under construction. The money allocated by Germany are grant funds,» Baktygul Jeenbaeva stressed.
