President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov paid a two-day official visit to Germany.
Official meeting of Sooronbai Jeenbekov and the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier took place on the second day of the visit in Berlin. The heads of state held talks.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and Bundestag President Wolfgang Schäuble. The President of Kyrgyzstan and the Chancellor made statement for the press.
The head of state visited the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Germany, spoke with its staff. In Berlin, he visited the Reichstag and during the excursion he personally saw the surviving fragments of inscriptions of Soviet soldiers and officers left there in May 1945.
Following the official visit of Sooronbai Jeenbekov to Germany, a package of bilateral documents was signed, aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of diplomatic relations, economics and industry, agriculture and agro-industrial complex, education, development of tourism, trade and economic relations, in the financial sphere.
