Nephew of Omurbek Babanov was interrogated for five hours
Investigators of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes have interrogated the nephew of the ex-deputy of the Parliament, Omurbek Babanov, Zhanybek Myrzabaev for five hours. Respublika party reported.
Zhanybek Myrzabaev was interrogated as a witness within AKB Kyrgyzstan case. The state service does not comment on the progress of the investigation, promising to provide details later.
Earlier, the Financial police had no questions about the bank, the party stressed. Zhanybek Myrzabaev believes that this may be connected with the pressure associated with the return of Omurbek Babanov to Kyrgyzstan.
Omurbek Babanov promises to return to the country on April 13, 2019. His associates intend to welcome the ex-presidential candidate by rallies and concerts in four cities at once — in Bishkek, Talas, Naryn and Karakol.
