Sooronbai Jeenbekov criticizes National Bank of Kyrgyzstan
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan cannot cope with the set tasks. President Sooronbai Jeenbekov announced this today at a meeting of the Parliament.
According to him, there is not a single full-fledged bank in the regions. Banking services should appear with the development of electronic payments and mobile banking.
«The National Bank is late in completing this task. If the work is not activated and there are no concrete results in the near future, we will talk in other way,» said Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
He added that the National Bank has another task: to offer incentives for commercial banks to finance regional projects. «If commercial banks finance at least one large project each, then it will be possible to implement more than 25 projects,» the head of state said.
