Valentina Shevchenko tells why she likes Osh market
UFC Champion Valentina Shevchenko told at a press conference today what she would do during her current visit to Kyrgyzstan.
«I’ll be here for a week. I would like to meet many people, but I am afraid I will not have time. My priority is communication with my family. Then I will go to St. Petersburg to attend the fight of my sister Antonina at UFC,» she said.
«There are two places in Kyrgyzstan that I always think about: Issyk-Kul lake and Osh market. This time, if I have time, I will definitely walk through Osh market. It is not just a place for me to buy something. It is a part of culture,» Valentina Shevchenko stressed.
«I can’t say when I’ll come again.» But it will be in the summer. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov said today that I would be welcome at any time," she said.
Valentina Shevchenko arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic the day before.
