247 projects implemented in Kyrgyzstan at budget expense in 2019
At least 247 projects are being implemented in Kyrgyzstan at the expense of stimulating (equity) grants from the republican budget. The Ministry of Finance reported.
The total need for projects financing is estimated at 599,699.5 million soms. Most of the projects are implemented in Jalal-Abad (59 projects for 132 million soms), Chui (44 projects for 101.6 million soms) and Issyk-Kul (40 projects for 94.9 million soms) regions.
Stimulating (equity) grants are funds provided from the republican budget to local governments on a design-competitive basis with equity participation of local budgets and other funds raised for the implementation of programs for social and economic development of territories. Funding of projects depends on the submitted reports. In this case, a grant is issued in tranches, taking into account use of funds.
