Alternative SDPK party to take part in parliamentary elections 2020
Alternative SDPK party is getting ready to participate in the parliamentary and local councils’ elections. Its Chairman Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov told at a press conference at 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the party has already begun preparations. During the year, alternative Social Democrats plan to raise the level of civic education and political literacy.
«The slogan of our party is «A thief should be in prison.» But this does not mean that we will be bent on Almazbek Atambayev, we will work. The ex-president himself must be held accountable before the law for corruption acts and betrayal of the memory of those killed on April 7, 2010,» said Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov.
He repeatedly stated that the alternative SDPK was legal and legitimate, and its legal registration was a matter of a few days.
Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov believes that the congress, which will be held tomorrow by the former head of state Almazbek Atambayev, has no legal force and is more a production meeting than a forum.
