Kyrgyzstan to review disability сconfirmation procedure
Provision on confirmation of citizens’ disability procedure will be revised. Press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan reported.
An interdepartmental working commission which will revise the provision will be created. It will include representatives of state agencies and the civil sector, non-governmental organizations, and the Public Council of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development.
Criteria and deadlines for confirmation and re-confirmation of disability will be revised.
The ministry noted that the deputies of Parliament asked to check the activities of medical and social expert commissions under the Ministry of Social Development. According to them, there are many complaints about their work.
