Alternative SDPK party intends to re-register with Ministry of Justice
Alternative SDPK party will undergo re-registration at the Ministry of Justice. Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov, its elected leader, told reporters today.
According to him, the party will not be divided upon re-registration. The newly elected head of the political organization recalled that Almazbek Atambayev had been expelled from the party at today’s congress.
«Our congress is the only legitimate one, since it was convened by the decision of the Political Council on March 4, 2019. It also annulled the decision to hold the congress on April 6. Today, we adopted a new charter, elected a chairman and a Political Council,» Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov told.
Another SDPK congress will be held in Bishkek on April 6. Supporters of the ex-president Almazbek Atambayev will attend it.
