Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan inspects Ak-Sai - Tamdyk road in Batken
Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev got acquainted with the state of the roads in the border areas of Batken region. The Information Support Department of the Cabinet’s Executive Office reported.
The head of government inspected the state of Ak-Sai — Ravat road and got acquainted with the construction of Ak-Sai — Tamdyk road in Batken region. The Minister of Transport and Roads, Zhanat Beishenov, said that the construction of Ak-Sai — Ravat road with a total length of 25 kilometers began in January 2014. At least 18 kilometers of road have been built.
Zhanat Beishenov told that following the negotiations of the governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, the construction of Ak-Sai — Tamdyk road was continued. As of today, 13 out of 24.5 kilometers of the road have been completed. The construction of the road will allow unhindered transport communication across the territory of Kyrgyzstan in the border areas of Batken region.
The head of government also inspected the state of a secondary school in Ak-Sai village, Batken district.
In addition, Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev inspected the bridge located at the entrance to Ak-Sai village. Government agencies, together with local authorities, were instructed to submit proposals for construction of a new bridge.
