Collision of two trucks on Too-Ashuu pass causes huge traffic jam
Huge traffic jam formed after a crash of two trucks on Too-Ashuu pass. Eyewitnesses informed 24.kg news agency.
The traffic accident occurred today at about 11.00.
«The traffic jam on Bishkek-Osh road was also caused by the fact that many vehicles have summer tires and the road is covered with snow. The traffic police officers regulate the traffic, however, some drivers enter the oncoming lane,» eyewitnesses told.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations sent out a weather alert. According to the ministry, precipitations are expected from April 1 to April 4 in mountainous areas. Threat of avalanches persists on Bishkek — Osh, Ala-Buka — Kanysh-Kiya, Myrzake — Kara-Kulzha — Alaikuu, Kazarman — Aktal-Chat, and Karakol — Enilchek roads.
