Presidential Administration comments on situation on Kazakhstan’s border
Daniyar Imanaliev, head of the Policy of Strategic Development, Economy and Finance Department of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, commented on the situation on Kyrgyzstan — Kazakhstan state border.
According to him, the work is carried out at the level of the governments of the two countries. «As of today, there are no questions about Kyrgyz goods that we export to the EEU states. Issues on procedure for declaring consumer goods are being resolved,» said Daniyar Imanaliev.
Daniyar Sydykov, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, added that tightened control was imposed on consumer goods. Agricultural products cross the border without restrictions.
As of 8:00 am on April 1, 2019, about 223 heavy trucks have accumulated on Kyrgyz-Kazakh section of the state border at Ak-Tilek-Avtodorozhniy checkpoint.
