Daniyar Imanaliev, head of the Policy of Strategic Development, Economy and Finance Department of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, told reporters when projects on the signed agreements would be implemented.
According to him, new business contacts were established at the eighth interregional conference, which will contribute to the growth of trade and attract new investment. «The results were higher than expected. At least 53 documents for $ 6 billion have been signed,» said Daniyar Imanaliev.
The conference included negotiations on the integration of relations within the Eurasian Economic Union. «The largest number of agreements for $ 2.5 billion was signed in the field of power industry. There is a proposal for the production of hydro turbines and other equipment in hydropower sector,» the head of the department said.
Implementation of some projects have already begun. These are mainly export contracts for the supply of products from Kyrgyzstan. «The first batches have already been sent. As for large infrastructure projects, time is needed to develop a feasibility study. They will be implemented within 2-5 years,» Daniyar Imanaliev told.
