Gazprom invests 26.5 billion rubles in Kyrgyzstan for 5 years
The total sum of investments of Gazprom PJSC in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 26.5 billion rubles (28.6 billion soms at the exchange rate as of March 28). The Chairman of the Board of Gazprom PJSC Alexey Miller said at the meeting with the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev.
The parties discussed joint cooperation and plans of the company for development of the gas industry in Kyrgyzstan, modernization of gas supply facilities and gas infrastructure development in the regions.
Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Board of Gazprom PJSC, noted the successful implementation of Gazprom for Children social project, under which nine modern sports and health centers were built in the regions of Kyrgyzstan.
«The parties discussed in detail the company’s further plans to invest in the gas distribution sector of the country and expressed mutual readiness for further cooperation,» the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
