Jeenbekov tells about joint Kyrgyzstan-Russia efforts to develop education
More than 15,000 students from Kyrgyzstan study at higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation. The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov said at the first forum of rectors of universities of the two states «Development of Science and Education — Investment in the Future.»
The head of state noted the close relationship between the universities of the two countries.
«We resolve important issues of development of the education system through joint efforts with Russia. Over 15,000 students from Kyrgyzstan study at Russian universities. More than 1,500 students from Russia study at our universities in Kyrgyzstan. The human capital that we are forming determines the strategic partnership and friendship of our states. You are laying the foundation for cooperation in the development of the human capital of our countries,» said Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
The forum is attended by representatives of 70 universities of Russia.
