Weather alert: Unstable weather expected in Kyrgyzstan
Unstable weather is expected in Kyrgyzstan from March 28 to March 30. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Rain is forecasted in most parts of the country, and snow — in mountainous regions. Heavy precipitations are expected in some areas of Chui, Talas, Osh, Batken, Jalal-Abad regions and in the east of Issyk-Kul region.
«Such unstable weather will complicate agricultural work, grazing and keeping livestock on pastures, work of motor transport, communications, energy and public utilities enterprises,» the Ministry of Emergency Situations stressed.
At the same time, on March 25-26, due to an increase in air temperature and expected precipitations from March 27-30, avalanche threat persists in mountainous areas and on roads. It is necessary to strictly observe the distance between vehicles of 500 meters on the roads when driving through avalanche-prone areas.
