Father of 7 children from Kyrgyzstan imprisoned in Russia for fraud
A criminal group that was involved in simulation of traffic accidents to receive insurance payments was revealed in Komsomolsk-on-Amur city (Russia). Its leader is a father of seven children. Russian media reported.
Investigators have proved existence of components of a crime. The 37-year-old native of Kyrgyzstan in collusion with accomplices for almost a year (from 2017) had been organizing fraud, appropriating the money of insurance companies.
The fraudsters staged traffic accidents, received insurance payments, and spent money on personal needs.
The court recovered from the leader of the group more than 1.5 million rubles in damages to insurers and placed him in jail for four and a half years.
