Creative center for children with disabilities opened in Bishkek
Aruna creative center for children with disabilities was opened in Kok-Dzhar residential area of Oktyabrsky district of Bishkek. Press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
At least 60 children will be able to attend free dance and drama groups, as well as classes in komuz and handicrafts.
The city administration noted that the center appeared thanks to the funding of the Development Partners’ Coordination Council in Kyrgyzstan.
«The room was repaired, costumes, musical equipment and furniture were purchased. Administration of Oktyabrsky district and Shaiyr Balalyk Center for Children’s Creativity sent three heads of hobby groups, the Eurasia Foundation sent one employee. The project’s inspirer is an Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Shahrezada Askarova,» the city administration told.
