Number of polling stations in Russia to be increased during elections 2020
Number of polling stations in Russia will be increased during the parliamentary elections 2020 in Kyrgyzstan. The President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said this at a meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions of Kyrgyzstan.
The head of state instructed ambassadors to create favorable conditions for ensuring electoral right of Kyrgyz citizens in the upcoming elections.
«It is necessary to gradually expand the geography of consular offices abroad and introduce modern information technologies. Real work has begun in this direction. For example, a consulate was opened in Novosibirsk city this year,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov added.
The President urged ambassadors to work closely with public associations and compatriots’ organizations abroad.
«The doors of embassies and consular offices should be open day and night, and their employees must respond promptly to the needs of our citizens and protect their interests. The world community must recognize us as a country that can take care of its citizens and ensure their safety in all circumstances,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov reminded.
