Sooronbai Jeenbekov about his expectations from visit of Vladimir Putin
Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia are developing dynamically. The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov announced at a meeting with ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan today.
He recalled that he paid his first visit as a head of state to the Russian Federation.
«Work in the field of military-technical cooperation is progressing well. Now we intend to further increase our trade and economic relations and bring the volume of trade to $ 2 billion,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted.
The first state visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan is expected on March 28.
«I am sure that we will reach a number of agreements of mutual interest within the framework of this visit,» the president said.
