Road repairs to begin in Chui region in coming days
Grading of the roadside of Bishkek-Torugart road began in the area of Novopokrovka village, Issyk-Ata district, Chui region. The Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The Department of Road Facilities scheduled repair of a number of highways in Chui region for 2019. All equipment and workers are in full readiness, and in the coming days, spring patching and major repairs of roads will begin in accordance with the schedule.
«In addition, 3 km of roads will be repaired in each district of Chui region for development of the country’s regions. In total, the Department of Road Facilities has planned asphalting of roads in 40 districts of the republic with a total length of 123 kilometers,» the ministry says.
