Rape in Uzgen. Father of pregnant girl ruled sane
Man who raped his daughter in Uzgen district of Osh region was ruled sane. The Internal Affairs Department for the region informed 24.kg news agency.
A forensic psychiatric examination was conducted during the investigation.
«Experts confirmed that the man was sane at the time of the crime. The girl is in a rehabilitation center in Osh. The accused faces life imprisonment. He was charged with rape,» the Department of Internal Affairs reported.
The police conducted household visits and found a pregnant girl. It turned out that the teenager got pregnant after being raped by her own father, who suffered from a mental illness. He was placed in a pretrial detention facility.
