New Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan appointed
New Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Kyrgyzstan has been appointed. Du Dewen presented copies of her credentials to the Foreign Affairs Minister of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the conversation, the sides discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation, as well as the preparation for upcoming high-level bilateral visits.
Before the appointment, Du Dewen took the post of a Consul-General of China in Almaty. Former Ambassador Xiao Qinghua completed his mission in Kyrgyzstan in February.
State visit of the President of China Xi Jinping to the Kyrgyz Republic will take place in June 2019.
