Sooronbai Jeenbekov urges judges to use computers
President of Kyrgyzstan urged judges to learn how to use computers. Sooronbai Jeenbekov said this today at the 11th Congress of Judges.
The head of state noted that judicial proceedings were carried out on paper. He cited the example of Kazakhstan, where 91 percent of lawsuits were filed in electronic format.
«As you can see, expenses are growing. Although it has long been possible to transform everything into electronic format,» said Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
He believes that computer literacy should be a part of the professional competence of judges.
«This should be done in the near future and quickly, we are already late. I hope the leadership of the judicial system will show an example and transform all activities into electronic format,» he added.
