Director of rehabilitation center Aleksey Petrushevsky fired
Director of the Center for Rehabilitation of Children and Youth, Aleksey Petrushevsky, has been relieved of his post. Press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
The decision was made by a founder of the center — the Social Development Department of the Bishkek City Administration on the basis of the Labor Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The city administration explained that employment relationship could be terminated without specifying the reasons for termination and regardless of duration of employment relationship. Former director will get compensation according to the current legislation.
Recall, deputies of the Bishkek City Council suggested to close the rehabilitation center, transfer children to other institutions, and open a kindergarten in the building. Recently, the head of the institution, Aleksey Petrushevsky faced a lot of criticism, accusations of pedophilia and even sale of children. Numerous inspections have been carried out at the center, but the facts were not confirmed.
