SDPK split. Opponents’ task - to remove Atambayev from post of leader
Task of SDPK opponents is to remove the ex-president of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev from the post of party leader until April 6. Members of the political council told at a press conference.
According to the deputy of the Parliament, Irina Karamushkina, the only legitimate leader of the Social Democrats is Almazbek Atambayev. She noted that SDPK would hold its congress on April 6. She was supported by the parliament deputy Asel Koduranova.
Political council of SDPK believes that the initiative of Isa Omurkulov to convene a party congress on April 3 is illegal.
