Man harassing small children sentenced to 22 years in prison in Tokmak
Tokmak City Court sentenced a 35-year-old man to 22 years in prison for sexual assault. The head of the Criminal and Civil Justice Department of the prosecutor’s office of Chui region, Nurlan Tagaev, told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the man forced small children to take off their pants and touched their private parts.
«For example, the man harassed a 9-year-old girl threatening her with a knife. The defendant threatened that if the girl told someone about this, he would kill her. The criminal was frightened by an unknown guy passing by. During the trial, the man did not admit his guilt. He stated that he was framed by the police. He refused testimony given during the investigation. However, his guilt was proved by testimony of witnesses and case materials,» Nurlan Tagaev told.
