At least 2,137 schools in Kyrgyzstan connected to the Internet
At least 2,137 schools, or 86 percent, are connected to the Internet in Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Education and Science of the republic reported.
It is noted that 35 schools are located in remote mountainous areas, where laying of fiber-optic and wireless communication lines is difficult.
In September 2018, teachers and schoolchildren of Kyrgyzstan for the first time received two multimedia complexes as an additional educational resource. Teachers were provided with an opportunity to undergo advanced training and retraining online.
