Winter planting of coniferous trees finished in Bishkek
Winter planting of coniferous trees was completed in Bishkek. Press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
In January — February, Bishkekzelenkhoz workers planted 1,043 saplings of coniferous trees: eastern thuja, Crimean pines, junipers and spruces.
«Young trees are planted with a closed root system, that is, with an earth clod. When transported and planted, these saplings experience less stress, do not get sick, and quickly take root in a new place,» the city administration noted.
In 2019, the city administration plans to plant 10,428 trees and shrubs. At least 5,084 of them are deciduous trees, 2,822 — conifers, 2,522 — shrubs, as well as more than 2 million of annual flowers.
