Man dies during illegal coal mining in Batken region
A 35-year-old man died during illegal work in a mine in Kyzyl-Kiya. The Internal Affairs Department for the region reported.
The accident occurred at a closed mine yesterday, on February 28.
«Five men entered a non-working mine in Boz village and tried to mine coal. One of them was poisoned by carbon monoxide at a depth of 75 meters under the ground. The victim was taken to the territorial hospital, but the doctors pronounced death. Relatives of the deceased refused a forensic examination,» the police department reported.
