New kindergarten opened in Bishkek
New kindergarten with the number 180 was opened in Bishkek city. Bishkek City Administration reported.
Private rehabilitation center was previously located in the building. On the initiative of the deputies of the Bishkek City Council, the building was transferred to municipal ownership in 2018. At least 18 million soms were allocated from the city budget for repairs.
The mayor of Bishkek, Aziz Surakmatov, noted that all conditions for education of children were created in the kindergarten.
«I am sure that the kindergarten will eventually become exemplary, many parents would like their children to get education and upbringing there,» he said.
The kindergarten is designed for 140 children. Language of instruction is Kyrgyz. At least 195 children have been already enlisted, other 66 are on the waiting list.
The city administration added that the draft budget for 2019 included works on the improvement of the kindergarten’s territory with partial replacement of irrigation trays, installation of swings, slides, sandboxes, benches, fences.
In total, 35 pre-school educational organizations work in Oktyabrsky district of the capital.
