Energy Holding liquidation. Kyrgyzstan’s government has 3 options
Deputies repeatedly raised issue of liquidation of the National Energy Holding today at a meeting of SDPK parliamentary faction.
According to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov, the National Energy Holding is a legal structure created at a high level.
«The government is currently considering three options. There are many proposals for the restoration of the Ministry of Energy and liquidation of the holding. But these two government agencies have different functions,» he explained.
The official added: the Cabinet did not exclude merger of the energy companies to reduce costs.
«Whether we abolish the holding or not, its functions will not be transferred to the Energy Ministry,» Kubatbek Boronov said.
