Kyrgyzstan exports only honey, dried fruits and beans to Europe. Erkinbek Choduev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan, announced today at a meeting of the Parliament.
Deputy Talaibek Masabirov asked what kind of agricultural products Kyrgyzstan exported to EU countries and whether they were organic.
Erkinbek Choduev replied that dried fruits and honey for $11 million were exported to Europe. At least 90,000 tons of beans were exported for a year, 30 percent of them — to the EU.
«The exported goods are not completely organic,» he said.
