356 kilograms of mercury found in car in Kadamdzhai district
Police officers suppressed an attempt to illegally sell mercury in Kadamdzhai district of Batken region. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Police officers stopped a Lexus car driven by a 59-year-old man. At least 356 kilograms of mercury were found during inspection of the car.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched under the article " Illicit trafficking in potent or toxic substances for sale purposes" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
